The Tidewater Elite Dance Company is a team comprised of students from the Dance School at Tidewater Studios for the Arts. This team was founded in September 2010 by Owner/Director Jessica Jones-Healey. The Tidewater Elite Dance Company was formed to give students the opportunity to showcase their talent in dance through Community Outreach, Competitions, Talent Shows, Parades, and other Community Activities. It was also formed to provide students with opportunities to enrich their dance study through scholarship/workshop programs associated with community events.
To be a member of Tidewater Elite Dance Co. you must...
*There is NO TRYOUT for the TIdewater Elite Dance Company. Every student eligible for the team is put under review at the end of the School year and selections will be made by the Artisitic Director and Dance Instructors. *Students transferring from other studios must be a member of the TSA Scholar Dance Program prior to being considered for team. Permission to be on team without a trial year in the Scholar Dance Program may be considered under special circumstances from the Artistic Director.
