Tidewater Studios for the Arts Inc. was founded in September 2009 by Owner and Artistic Director Jessica Jones-Healey. The school itself consists of three main studios for Art, Music, Dance, and Adult Fitness education. These curriculums are for students of all ages interested in furthering their education in fine, performing, and visual arts. Amoung our 4 main schools we also have a dance performance company; Tidewater Elite Dance Company. This company was designed to give students dance experience through performing in community festivals, competitions, and other types of activities. We also offer additional classes throughout the year including: Origami, Jewelry making, ZUMBA Kids, children's yoga, and much more!

Tidewater Studios for the Arts Inc. is based on the belief that our families and student's needs are of the utmost importance. The entire team here at TSA is committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of our business is from repeat customers and referrals!
Our Academy is comitted to students and families who seek a school where more emphasis is centered on learning of the Arts verses competitive aspects with peers. Healthy competition is important in children's lives today, that is why TSA delivers and offers programs that challange every student physically, mentally, and spiritually against themselves; verses other studios who focus on competition with classmates and peers. Our goal is to provide students with the best Arts education without pressuring them to compete with each other. Art is not about competing, it is about awakening the artist in onesself.
